Linda is a funny, saucy, creative wife, grandma of three and mom to two who has owned an internet yarn shop since 1999 called Custom Yarns By Linda (wwwcustomyarns.com). This business emanated from Linda's lifelong love of knitting and an equally long accumulation of excess yarn (her "knitter's stash). She sold her "stash" successfully on E-Bay nearly a decade ago and then started experimenting with blends. One thing led to another and Custom Yarns By Linda was born. The timing was right because after 9/11, the yarn business exploded, as more people were "nesting."

However, Linda’s colorful personality could no longer remain hidden behind her computer, much like her bold yarns, yearning to be viewed in person! So she ventured out to knitting groups and demand has been so strong, that The Traveling Yarn-mobile has been adding mileage ever since.

Linda doles out helpful advice to knitters and crocheters of all ages and experience levels, from beginners to long-time crafters, along with laughs and beautiful yarns, which are as colorful, multi-faceted and textured as Linda's own personality.
